Giving Voice: Women's Empowerment
Kailyn Shalosky is joined by Women Empowerment Club President Kena Miller and Muskingum University Chaplain Rev. Derek Wadlington to discuss why we celebrate Women’s History Month, and how we all can support women empowerment. Kena discusses the transition of the club's name change from the Women in Politics Club to the Women Empowerment Club, as well as events that are happening on campus. Being the youngest of four children with three older sisters, Chaplain Derek talks from an ally perspective about how men can always support women, not just during Women’s History Month.
The Women Empowerment Club meets every other Wednesday in the Chess Center, Room 318. They can be found on Instagram @womenempowerment_mu.
